General rule:
The article must be original and deal with a theme relating to the fields covered by the journal: Arts and letters, Language and linguistics, Literature and theories of literature. It must not have been the subject of a previous publication (journal or collective work). It should not be submitted to another scientific journal. Written in French or English, the article should be no less than 10 pages or more than 40 pages.
1- How to submit an article to Langues, discours et inter cultures?
The submission of articles is done exclusively via the ASJP platform, through this link:
https://www.asjp.cerist.dz/en/PresentationRevue/766
-The author must first have an ASJP account. Otherwise, he can get it by clicking on Registration, in the menu bar.
- To format the article, you must first download the Template, by clicking on Instructions to authors. This must be strictly observed so that the article is not refused.
2- The evaluation:
In Langues, discours et Inter cultures, the evaluation of articles is a double blind peer review type. It goes through three main stages:
- the first is made by the editor-in-chief upon receipt of the article. It mainly concerns the formal aspect (whether the Template was respected or not during the development of the article). At the end of this operation, the article is either accepted for evaluation, and an automatic message is sent to the author, or refused on grounds of non-compliance with the publication standards.
- The second is that of reviewers. Once the article is accepted for review, the editor-in-chief assigns it to an associate editor or two reviewers, specialists in the field of the article, in their network. These should not belong to the same institution as the author.
After evaluation, the article can be:
* definitively accepted if he has obtained two positive expert reports without reservations.
* accepted with reservations, if one or both expertises accepted it with reservations. (The author, in this case, will be notified by message, and will have fifteen days to make the changes). After the reservations are lifted, the reviewers permanently accept the article and the editor-in-chief moves the article to the accepted articles section for publication.
* refused, if he obtained two negative expert reports.
* subject to a third expertise, if it has had a positive report and another negative.
3- Bibliographical references
After final acceptance of the article, the author must enter the bibliographic references, through his ASJP account, by clicking on accepted article. The editor-in-chief checks, validates the references, and the article moves to the upcoming articles section (awaiting publication).
4- Rules of ethics and professional conduct
Authors are required to scrupulously respect the ethical rules of research and scientific publication, in particular those relating to the fight against racism and all forms of discrimination and those relating to the fight against plagiarism.
